I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families, focusing on those tricky adolescent identity phases and major life transitions. Whether your teen is figuring out who they are, you’re struggling to keep up with the changes, or your family just needs a bit of guidance, I’ve got your back. For neurodivergent children and adolescents, this can sometimes mean navigating a world that doesn’t always “get” them, I’m here to help your family not only get it but embrace it.
My approach is straightforward: safety and trust come first. When we’ve got those in place, we can tackle the tricky stuff with curiosity and courage. My background in structural family therapy helps me look at the big picture, meaning I work with each client in the context of their systems — families, schools, communities, etc. Whether it’s helping parents work with their child’s school to support the child’s wellbeing or guiding families through intense life changes, I pull from different therapeutic modalities like somatic therapy, child-centered play, experiential therapy, and more to support you in finding real, lasting change.
Your family doesn’t need one-size-fits-all advice and judgment. You need someone who sees you for who you are and meets you right where you’re at. Let’s dig into the challenges and create more of what works for your family.

Hi, I'm Mackenzie! I specialize in working with parents, individuals navigating chronic illness and healthcare professionals who are ready for change. I see clients as individuals, couples, and families, and I also run groups. I join with my clients as they examine the narratives that have shaped their lives so they can intentionally reclaim their story and design a future aligned with their most authentic and empowered selves.
My approach draws from evidence-based protocols, holistic wisdom, and lived experience, which includes my background working in the medical industry for over a decade, in-depth study of psychology & human development, multicultural experiences, parenting training, and entrepreneurial experience. My style is direct and compassionate, and my goal is to provide a safe environment for clients to explore, heal, and talk through their experiences while trying on new skills. Along the way, we'll identify and build upon your strengths and discover practical tools that will bolster those strengths as you update your narrative and live a life abundant with joy, purpose, and love.

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University, where I also completed advanced training in child therapy. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin.
My work is grounded in a systemic perspective, which means I consider the broader relational and cultural contexts that shape people’s lives and well-being.
My passion for mental health grew from a deep curiosity about relationships, identity, and the stories we carry. I’ve supported individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, life transitions, relationship struggles, gender and identity exploration, neurodiversity, and high-conflict family dynamics.
I work with children, teens, and adults from diverse cultural, neurological, and relational backgrounds—including LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and neurodiverse clients. My approach is warm and collaborative, drawing on emotionally focused, narrative, attachment-based, and culturally responsive frameworks—all through a relational and systemic lens.
